To gain security clearance you must have five years continuous residency in the UK. Security clearance is undertaken by a third party to police personnel vetting standards (NPPV/3 and SC), as such any criminal convictions may prevent you from gaining security clearance. In addition, all successful applicants will be required to undertake drug and alcohol testing prior to commencing employmentKey Responsibilities and AccountabilitiesThe successful candidate will be expected to

  • Provide day to day support to the Archive Supervisor and Archive Manager
  • Retrieve, process and archive casefiles and associated data in a prompt and accurate manner
  • Maintain and update records utilising specialist software effectively
  • Archive paper records to provide a clear chain of custody
  • Work with colleagues to provide a responsive service in relation to day-to-day archiving related issues
  • Implement destruction of casefiles following strict customer requirements and correct procedures
  • Actively contribute to continuous improvement initiatives

  • Reporting actual and potential quality incidents
  • Work according to all Security and Health and Safety protocols
QualificationsWe are looking for:
  • Excellent attention to detail and good organisation skills
  • Accountability
  • Flexible, adaptive attitude
  • Previous experience of working with complex filing, archival and/or retrieval systems preferable but not essential
  • Knowledge and experience of working to documented Standard Operating Procedures or work instructions
