The police can detain individuals for up to 24 hours and within this time, we provide a high level of care to detainees and their needs, which can vary from drug/alcohol dependency to acute medical episodes.Our dedicated healthcare professionals are also fully trained to collect forensic samples which can assist the police with their investigations.Experience within forensics is NOT NECESSARY.As a Forensic Custody Healthcare Professional, you will work closely with the police and receive training and support to become an accredited Forensic Practitioner.If you're struggling to maintain a good work-life balance and are looking for clearer boundaries, then this role could be for you.The 2-on-6-off rota pattern will give you the ability to plan your personal life months in advance.
