Forest School & Outdoor Education

practitioner to bring the magic of the outdoors to life across our nursery.


This will be a split role with 3 days being dedicated to outdoor education and 2 days supporting in a room.

What

You'll Be Doing:

Support our Outdoor Education Lead

in designing and delivering awe-inspiring Forest School and outdoor education experiences.

Champion wellbeing

through nature-based learning that nurtures children, families, and staff alike.

Create magical spaces

that spark curiosity, exploration, and environmental awareness.

Promote sustainability

through hands-on eco-activities, community allotments, and the 3 Rs: Reduce, Reuse, Recycle.

Build community

through stay-and-play sessions, open days, and partnerships that connect people with nature.

Support growth

by helping the nursery embed our outdoor ethos from day one.

Keep it safe

with robust risk assessments, safeguarding practices, and compliance with EYFS and health & safety standards.

What

We're Looking For:


A qualified childcare practitioner (

level 3 in childcare

) with a deep love for outdoor education. A creative thinker with a flair for designing engaging, inclusive outdoor learning experiences. A sustainability advocate who walks the talk. A team player who thrives in a collaborative, child-centred environment. Someone who's not afraid to get muddy, climb trees, or build a bug hotel!
