Contract: Full time (38 hours) - 8am till 6pm, 4 days a week, set day off every week
Job Summary
Here at Fairlands Day Nursery we have developed our woodland area to create our "Forest Fen", a dedicated space for our Forest School sessions. We offer Forest school activities such as den building, bug hunting, natural crafts and exploring the natural environment around us. All age groups have regular access to our extensive outdoor facilities, including a playground, field, vegetable plot and forest school. We enjoy spending as much time as possible in the outdoors.
We are currently looking for a individual who holds a Forest School Lead qualification to join the team. As a Forest School Practitioner you will plan, implement and monitor day to day delivery of Forest School Fen, and promote outdoor learning and the ethos of Forest School. As a team you will create a safe, engaging and stimulating environment for children to learn a range of Forest School skills. This role will be working with the Preschool aged children, alongside a team of other Early Years Practitioners and Forest School Leads in our Forest School.
Qualifications Required:
Level 3 or above Forest School Qualification.
Level 3 or above Early Years Practitioner.
DBS check is required for this position.
