Self Employed Forest School Leader | Alternative Education Provider

Farm Club are seeking a confident individual with a positive attitude and an ability to be highly adaptable. Ideal candidates will have a professional and positive attitude towards supporting young people on their journey through alternative provision. It is essential that the applicant has experience in working with children to join our friendly supportive team.

Qualified forest school practitioners with experience supporting children with SEMH/SEND needs are the ideal candidates for this vacancy.

Farm Club is a space for children to; learn important life skills, work on their ability to emotionally regulate, receive help with communication difficulties, build an appetite for learning and be supported in social integration with others.

The position of Forest School Session Leader will involve delivering sessions for students inline with our Farm Club learning programme. To ensure students are getting maximum benefit from their time with Farm Club, we require an individual who can demonstrate compassion, creativity, vigilance, patience, and resilience.

We are looking to add another forest school trained practitioner to our growing team. Our setting and learning curriculum reflect our ethos of outdoor living, nature connection and forest school, and we would like that to be championed by a new recruit who shares this ethos.

The opportunity for working hours is term time only (39 weeks of the year) as a Self-Employed person. The working hours available are Monday - Friday 09.00 - 15.30. Our sessions run from 09:00 - 12:00 and 12:30 - 15:30. The hourly rate per hour of service provision is negotiable. There are big breaks in the school calendar offering plenty of time off. Farm Club encourages you to fulfil other employment in accordance with IR35 legislation.
