to spearhead their

Forest School Nursery project

across South West London.

The Role

As the

Forest School Leader

, you will take ownership of developing and delivering engaging Forest School sessions that spark curiosity, resilience, and confidence in children. Your responsibilities will include:

Sourcing and developing outdoor areas

suitable for Forest School activities

Liaising with local authorities, landowners, and community partners

to secure safe and inspiring locations Conducting thorough

risk assessments

to ensure children's safety at all times Creating,

scheduling, and leading Forest School sessions

for children of varying ages and abilities Embedding the ethos of outdoor learning into the nursery's wider curriculum

About You

We are looking for an enthusiastic, motivated individual who is as comfortable in the forest as they are in planning and leading structured sessions. You will:

Hold a recognised

Forest School Leader qualification (Level 3 or above)

Have proven experience delivering Forest School or outdoor education sessions Be confident in

risk assessing outdoor environments

and ensuring safe practice Bring creativity, energy, and a child-centred approach to learning Have excellent communication skills for working with children, staff, parents, and local authorities
