Full UK Driving License and Valid Counter Balance forklift Driving Licence



We are looking for a Forklift Driver to join the Waste and Cleaning team to undertake driving duties with a health and safety conscious environment to load pallet trailers, card and plastic bales as well as ensuring all equipment is fit for purpose.



You should be capable of working and staying compliant to Health and Safety regulations, monitor the performance of equipment, provide support to the waste team and make sure to follow PPE guidance.



You will hold a current Counter balance FLT license with active experience driving trucks, have a good level of communicative English as well as be detail conscious and excellent time management skills to follow tight deadlines. You will also be required to pass a DBS Check and undertake a drugs/alcohol screening test prior to starting.



The role is primarily outside and involves the collecting of tenant waste for recycling in our purpose-built recycling centre which does including sweeping, lifting, sorting of waste into different streams for processing. We pride ourselves in the service we offer that no waste goes to landfill. As well as recycling services we also clean other areas such as all public toilets, limited number of offices, light grounds maintenance, car park deep cleans and ad hoc works as required by our customer and their tenants.



Forklift driving experience is mandatory and the candidate must have a valid in date Fork Lift License. A full UK Driving License or in date EU Driving License is mandatory. All licences will be checked via our vetting team. The candidate should be reliable and hardworking with a professional attitude and ability to work to a schedule and as part of a team.
