Forklift Driver - Bendi & VNA/Order-Picker Trucks - Immediate Start

Location: Market Drayton, Shropshire

Salary: 12.50 per hour / approx. 26,000+ per year (experience dependent)

Hours: Monday-Friday | 08:00-16:30 (37.5 hrs), transitioning to 08:00-17:00 (40 hrs)

Job Type: Full-Time | Permanent | On-site

Transport: Own transport required (no public transport available)

. This is a permanent, full-time role suited to an experienced

Forklift Driver

with Bendi and VNA/order-picker qualifications. The successful Forklift Driver - Bendi & VNA/Order-Picker Trucks will support daily warehouse operations, ensuring safe, accurate, and efficient handling of goods.

Key Responsibilities

Safely operate

Bendi and

VNA/order-picker forklifts (Counterbalance licence is an advantage)*
Unload vehicles and check stock for correct quantities, labelling, and potential damage*
Record all goods received and report discrepancies to the Warehouse Manager*
Pick items accurately using paper or electronic systems*
Meet daily pick targets while maintaining

99%+ accuracy*
Pack orders securely, generate shipping labels, and load carriers*
Confirm each shipment matches the picking list before despatch*
Conduct regular cycle counts and location checks*
Report stock variances and investigate under manager guidance*
Maintain clean, organised, and hazard-free work areas*
Store goods correctly to reduce the risk of damage*
Complete pre-use equipment checks and report faults immediately*
Follow all site safety rules and use required PPE*
Submit near-miss reports and support continuous safety improvements*
Work collaboratively with the team to meet deadlines*
Assist with trade-show tasks including loading, unloading, and assembling display items*

Skills & Requirements

Valid, in-date

Bendi Forklift licence (essential)*
Valid, in-date

VNA and/or order-picker truck licence (essential)*
Counterbalance licence beneficial*
Ability to commute reliably using own transport*
Strong accuracy, attention to detail, and good record-keeping skills*
Positive attitude, good communication skills, and strong teamwork approach*
Comfortable following safety procedures and carrying out manual handling duties*
