Warehouse Forklift Truck Driver

Job Purpose/ Role:

Responsible for operation of material handling equipment for the purpose of accurate shipping, processing and receiving. To include but not limited to, unloading, loading, picking, and stacking product using Forklift Truck.

Duties & Responsibilities

Act as a steward for all company Health and Safety policies and procedures including, safe operation of MHE, usage of the required PPE, and hazard reporting. Be proactive in ensuring the integrity of the food safety and food quality system are maintained Responsible for reporting and taking necessary action to prevent food safety and food quality problems from occurring Unloading/loading containers and articulated lorries with forklift truck. Pick/Put away pallets from racking system, using WMS, following instructions from production, Goods In, and dispatch teams. Material sorting based on size, colour, type, batch, Best Before Date or product code. Arrange materials for order assembly. Follow production schedules and works orders to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed. Housekeeping duties as required Additional responsibilities and duties as assigned by supervisor

Requirements & Skills

Must have a valid Flexi or Counterbalance license.

2 years warehousing experience. Ability to work a flexible shift schedule between 6am-10pm. Experience of working in a fast-paced environment. Can manage high workloads and prioritise needs. Experience of working with a WMS system. Strong numeracy skills Able to communicate effectively, with excellent verbal and written English. Team player.
Job Types: Full-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 4 months

Pay: 13.00 per hour

Expected hours: 37.5 per week
