Job Overview:

As a forklift driver you will be responsible for safely operating forklifts to move, stack, and organise material on the construction site. You will ensure that goods are transported efficiently and stored correctly, maintaining safety standards at all times. Additionally, as a General Operative you will be responsible for supporting daily operations by performing a variety of tasks such as loading/unloading, packaging, cleaning, and assisting with site activities to ensure smooth workflow.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in loading, unloading, and transporting materials around the site. Support tradespeople with tasks such as moving tools and equipment. Keep the site clean and organised to ensure safety and efficiency. Help with site preparation and basic groundwork as required. Follow health and safety protocols at all times. Report hazards or issues to site supervisors. Safely operate forklifts to transport heavy materials and equipment across the construction site. Load and unload trucks and storage areas with building materials. Assist with stacking and organising supplies in designated areas. Conduct routine safety checks and maintenance on forklift machinery. Follow all health and safety regulations and site protocols. Support the team with other site duties as required.

Qualifications & Experience:

Valid forklift operator certification/licence. Drivers License Previous experience operating forklifts. Good communication and teamwork skills. Attention to safety procedures and protocols. CSCS Card Experience on a construction site
