Pollybell Farms Ltd

is a leading organic farming business based in Nottinghamshire. We are looking for a reliable, experienced, and certified Forklift Driver to join our team supporting the intake, storage, and despatch of fresh organic vegetables.

About the Role:

This is a hands-on role working across our farm and packhouse operations. The successful candidate will play a key part in ensuring produce is handled safely and efficiently during loading, unloading, and order preparation.

Key Responsibilities:

Load and unload field rig trailers Move produce into and out of cold storage Order picking and despatch preparation Operate forklifts safely and maintain equipment checks Booking in and unloading harvested products from field rigs accurately to uphold traceability Keep working areas clean, organised and compliant with health & safety standards

Requirements:

Valid counterbalance forklift licence Forklift driving experience, ideally in a warehousing, agricultural, or cold store setting Comfortable working in cold environments and around fresh produce Attention to detail understanding the importance of accurate record keeping Reliable, punctual, and physically fit for hands-on work Able to follow instructions and work well in a team Flexible approach to working hours during busy periods

Working Hours:

Producing fresh vegetables, hours vary with seasonality but in peak season (June to October) the role will be Monday to Saturday and low season (November to May) the role will typically be Monday to Friday.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 13.50 per hour
