Overview

We are seeking a skilled Forklift Operator to join our team in an engineering environment. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient movement of materials and products within the facility. This position requires a strong focus on safety, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with other team members.

Duties

Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment to load and unload goods safely and efficiently. Perform shipping and receiving tasks, including verifying incoming and outgoing shipments against documentation. Conduct regular inspections of equipment and perform basic repairs as necessary to ensure optimal operation. Handle materials with care, adhering to safety protocols while performing heavy lifting as required. Assist in maintaining a clean and organised warehouse environment, ensuring that all areas are free from hazards. Collaborate with team members to optimise workflow and improve operational efficiency.
