As a Forklift Driver/Site Services Operative you will be responsible for supporting day-to-day site operations, with a primary focus on forklift duties and general site services. This includes the safe movement of materials, waste, and equipment across the site, ensuring external areas are well-maintained and operational needs are met. Occasional support to cleaning will also be required.

What you'll do:

Operate forklifts and other waste-handling or transport equipment safely within site boundaries Perform daily checks on forklifts and reporting any defects or faults promptly Undertake routine collection and transport of various waste types (excluding segregation), including domestic and manufacturing waste, ensuring bins are secure and fit for transport Transport

Intermediate Bulk Containers (IBCs)

and other large containers safely across the site, ensuring secure handling and proper placement according to operational procedures Support with the movement of materials and equipment as needed across site areas Collect and deliver parcels and ad hoc items to designated locations Complete helpdesk tasks within set timeframes Encourage recycling within area of responsibility, where appropriate

What you'll bring:

Valid and up-to-date

Forklift Truck licence

Strong customer service skills and proven experience in a client-facing environment Service-oriented mindset with a proactive and solutions-driven approach Effective team player within a high-quality service operation Good working knowledge of facilities or cleaning services operations Self-motivated with the ability to work under pressure and manage conflicting priorities Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage and collaborate with a wide range of stakeholders, including clients, colleagues, and multi-service teams
