The Forklift Driver Role



Due to the continued success and growth of the Cumbernauld Corrugate Operation, we are expanding the Corrugate Factory Operations and are therefore recruiting for Experienced Forklift Drivers to join the team.



We offer permanent contracts on both day and night shift basis.



Hours

Dayshift: 37.5 hours a week, working Monday - Wednesday 07:00 - 17:00 and Thursday 07:00 - 16:30



Nightshift: 40 hours a week, working Monday - Thursday 21:00-07:00



Forklift Driver Key responsibilities


Understanding of Health and Safety rules and regulations in the workplace Daily equipment safety checks Load and unload goods efficiently and effectively Check consignments against documentation for description, quality, and condition Report discrepancies, including shortages and damages against documentation Locate, store and stack goods as per customer requirements Order, pick and collate goods from location Ensure all documentation is completed and processed correctly Perform other warehouse duties and housekeeping Working as part of the team from order confirmation through to dispatch

What you will bring



Valid licences in both Reach truck and Counterbalance FLT are essential (Flexi-truck licence also desirable but not essential) Demonstrable experience of driving both Reach/Counterbalance FLTs essential Good attention to detail Self-motivated Be flexible in availability for over time working Ability to work well with others
