Job Description

Brief duties include:

Reporting to the Production Manager, you will be a key member of the Manufacturing Team, responsible for all forklift operations, receiving deliveries and daily safety checks. You will have the opportunity to use your skills and knowledge within the role with a clear emphasis on safety and productivity.

Loading and unloading vehicles. Loading and unloading material at machines. Keeping materials in yard stacked safely. Conducting and documenting Pre-use Daily Safety checks. Off-loading delivery vehicles and maintaining the cleanliness of the factory. Loading of raw material and finished products / components at fabrication machines. Assisting in making up materials to be dispatched to clients. Receiving deliveries and checking for accuracy and damage, noting any discrepancies where appropriate. Storing materials in the correct locations when received in. Preparing and completing the relevant paperwork for goods in / out. All work to be processed in accordance with the procedures listed in the Company's Quality Manual and you must abide at all times with the Company's Health & Safety Policy. Maintaining the cleanliness of the work area, and other general duties as directed / required. Ensuring your own and others health & safety at all times.

Hours:

Monday to Thursday 06.00am -16.30pm.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: 13.50 per hour

Ability to commute/relocate:

Glasgow G67 2RN: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
Licence/Certification:

Forklift Licence (required)
Work Location: In person
