Summary

We are seeking a skilled, experienced Forklift Operator to join our team. This role is crucial for ensuring the safe and efficient movement of materials within our warehouse, and loading vehicles. You will need experience of both counterbalance and multidirectional forklifts as well as powered stackers. This role is an active, physical role and involves constant movement and decision making. This role is both indoor within the workshop and outdoor in the yard.

Responsibilities

Operate forklifts safely and efficiently to move materials throughout the warehouse.

Load and unload materials from trucks and containers. Work efficiently, accurately and above all safely in all you do. You must be a clean and organized person. You need to be a team player and collaborate with team members to ensure timely fulfillment of orders. Your equipment is valuable. We expect you to inspect and maintain your equipment. Adhere to the highest standards of health and safety regulations while performing tasks. Report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards immediately.

Qualifications

Valid forklift operator certification.

Proven experience in materials handling within a warehouse and yard setting. Both counterbalance and multidirectional forklift experience needed. Ability to lift heavy loads safely and efficiently. Basic math skills for inventory management tasks. Familiarity with warehouse management systems is a plus. Excellent communication skills and teamwork mentality.
