Counterbalance Forklift Driver

Location:

Llanwern Works, Newport, NP19 4QX

Westland are offering highly competitive hourly rates and a weekly 50 Attendance bonus for a Licensed Counterbalance Forklift Driver

The shift pattern is as follows:

Monday to Friday 7.00am - 4.00pm
Reporting to the Yard Manager the successful candidate will be responsible for the following duties:

Operating a counterbalance forklift to load and unload lorries as per loading docket, ensuring the correct pallets are being used. Maintaining a clean and orderly yard. Handling the Westland products with care to ensure minimum damage. Conduction pre-use checks on the forklift, maintaining it to a high standard and reporting any damage or faults to management. Complying with all Health and Safety policies and procedures in place, at all times. Performing any other reasonable request set by management.

Essential Criteria:

Previous experience in a similar role within a fast-paced environment. Previous experience operating a counterbalance Forklift, with valid counterbalance License. Good level of understanding and spoken English. Ability to meet production targets. Ability to take direction and following instruction.
