Forklift Driver
Job Description
Storefast Solutions is a dynamic, forward thinking and growing warehousing, contract packing, blending and manufacturing company based in Kent. We are looking to recruit a Forklift Driver to join our Warehouse team.
This role will involve working with a variety of products in warehouse locations within Storefast Solutions and will require a high level of versatility and flexibility.
Main responsibilities will include:
Picking and packing a variety of products including ambient, chilled and frozen.
Checking picked stock prior to dispatch.
Unloading lorries and containers.
Banding and wrapping pallets.
Meet specifics of customer orders in a timely manner.
Keep products separated and organised.
Keep all warehouse areas clean and tidy.
Listen carefully to picking instructions.
Liaise with the account managers.
Use of a forklift.
Other ad-hoc duties as assigned.
Person Specification:
Forklift experience essential.
LGV license desired.
Experience of working in a customer focused environment.
A positive can-do attitude and ability to work well as part of a team.
Have a good understanding of English.
Have a basic knowledge to use Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Outlook.
Attention to detail.
Ability to work well as part of a team.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: From 13.00 per hour
