Job Description

Robertsons Fine Foods are currently looking for a Forklift Driver/Storeman. The hours of work are 9 am - 6 pm Monday to Friday.

Previous experience is advantageous but not required as successful candidates will receive full training.

Job Purpose

To ensure that all jobs are booked following the correct procedure. All jobs are batched to the required specification of each job and Goods In chill stock is carried out daily accurately and precisely.

Responsibilities

Booking in raw materials following the correct procedures ensuring all paperwork is completed correctly and all raw materials are identified and a space allocated in the holding chill.

Unloading Trucks moving pallets & dolavs with a forklift truck.

Daily stocks to ensure correct stock rotation.

Liaise with the Goods In Manager to allocate the correct raw materials to specific jobs referring to the Weekly Meat Planner.

Follow a strict clean as you go policy ensuring the chill and unloading area is cleaned to a high standard.

Liaise with the Defrosting team leader to allocate staff cover as and when required.

. Keeping yard clean and making sausage orders up

Provide cover in the absence of the Goods in Manager.

Hours of Work

Monday to Friday, 9 am - 6 pm

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 12.21 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
