C&R Fencing are a family-owned business based in Bristol supplying and installing fencing, gates and access control to a wide variety of customers. Established for over 40 years working with a wide range of clients such as schools, councils, construction contractors, industrial and residential customers.
We are looking for a Forklift Driver / Warehouse Operative to work within our workshop. The ideal candidate will have experience working within a similar environment and operating forklift. We are looking for a self-motivated, practical individual with the ability to work well with others.
Responsibilities:
Operate counterbalance forklift safely and efficiently adhering to all health and safety regulations.
Daily checks to the forklift, reporting damage or maintenance.
Load and unload deliveries, moving materials between storage and dispatch areas, reporting any damages or discrepancies.
Correct storage & labelling of all materials within the warehouse.
Inventory management by accurately counting and recording stock levels.
Collaborate with team members to optimise warehouse operations and improve efficiency.
Maintain a clean and organised work environment, adhering to health and safety regulations.
Qualifications:
Valid forklift certification is essential.
Previous experience in a warehouse environment is preferred.
Ability to perform heavy lifting as part of daily duties.
Awareness of health & safety procedures.
Excellent attention to detail with the ability to follow instructions accurately.
Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
The package:
13.00 - 15.00 per hour
