Job Overview

We are seeking skilled Forklift Operators to join a variety of dynamic companies in the local area.

Reach Truck:

1 x Day Shift:

Mon - Fri, 7-3pm (please not going forward shift will change to 5/7 days) 12.89

1 x Night Shift: Sun - Thur 11pm-7am, 14.64

Counterbalance:

1 x Day Shift: Mon - Fri, 6-2pm, 13.75

1 x Back Shift: Mon - Fri 2-10pm, 15.13

The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating forklifts to move, load, and unload materials efficiently while ensuring safety and compliance with company policies. This role requires a strong understanding of warehouse management systems and the ability to perform basic equipment repairs as needed.

Duties

Operate forklifts to load and unload materials from lorries and storage areas. Manage inventory using warehouse management systems to track stock levels and locations. Perform materials handling tasks, ensuring products are stored safely and securely. Conduct regular inspections of equipment, reporting any maintenance or repair needs. Maintain a clean and organised work environment, adhering to health and safety regulations. Perform heavy lifting as required, ensuring proper techniques are used to prevent injury. Collaborate with team members to optimise workflow and ensure timely completion of tasks.

Requirements

Proven experience in a warehouse setting, with a strong understanding of warehouse operations. Valid forklift certification is essential. Strong materials handling skills with the ability to lift heavy items safely. Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills. Ability to work effectively in a team environment while also being self-motivated.
