Due to continued growth, Welch's Transport Ltd is looking for two new Forklift/Yard Operators at their Bedford Depot.

The Welch Group, own and operated by the Welch Family was founded as Welch's Transport Ltd when the haulage industry was nationalised in 1934 and is also a founding member of the Transport Association (TA) where it currently holds the longest serving member mantle.

The job role includes loading, unloading and following the quality control process within our warehouse and yard area. Other duties include ensuring the work area is kept in a safe and tidy condition.

Forklift experience is required and successful candidates will have to complete an in-house forklift assessment.

You will need to be health & safety conscious, have an eye for detail and be able to work with minimal supervision.

There are two shifts available 5am to 2pm and 10am to 7pm, this also includes a Saturday morning rota (one Saturday a month).
