Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Forklift Operator to join our warehouse team. The successful candidate will be responsible for safely operating forklifts to handle materials, assist with shipping and receiving, and support overall warehouse operations. This role requires a strong focus on safety, efficiency, and accuracy to ensure smooth logistical processes within our facility.

Duties

Operate forklift equipment to load, unload, and move materials within the warehouse , Flexi truck experience required. Manage shipping and receiving tasks, ensuring accurate documentation and handling of goods. Utilise warehouse management systems to track inventory movements and update records. Assist with materials handling, including stacking, organising, and storing products Conduct safety checks before operating machinery to identify potential hazards Support inventory counts and stock organisation activities Collaborate with team members to optimise warehouse workflow and efficiency

Skills

Proven experience operating Flexi forklift in a warehouse environment , within a racked environment. Knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) for tracking inventory would be great, Manual handling skills with the ability to lift heavy loads safely Basic mathematical skills for inventory counting and measurement tasks Good Organisational skills with attention to detail Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining safety standards
