Allen Concrete is a leading precast concrete manufacturer with its main production plant in Wellingborough.

The business has been established for over sixty years and is one of the major players within the precast fencing sector, manufacturing a wide range of concrete fence posts and gravel boards.

We currently have a

Forklift Driver/Yard Operative

role available in the Yard Team.

Essential Skills:

Current Forklift Licence

Key duties of a Forklift Driver/Yard Operative are:

Safely operate a forklift to load, unload, and move products within the stock yard, following all relevant safety guidelines and procedures Dealing with trade counter customers loading of trucks to deliver products to customers nationwide To assist the production workers at the end of the production line, as they demould products. To go into the stock yard to collect the correct pallet of products to be made up To consistently check the quality of the products before going onto the pallet To band the pallets that have been made up and place in stock Follow all H&S policies, work to the appropriate Safe Systems of Work and good housekeeping

Hours:

You will work Mondays to Fridays 6am - 3pm and 8am - 4.45pm alternate weeks.
