Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Forklift Operator to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced warehouse environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of forklifts to facilitate the movement of goods within the yard. This role requires attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and a commitment to maintaining a safe working environment.

Duties

Operate forklifts to load and unload materials from lorries and storage areas. Stock Rotation Perform materials handling tasks, including moving products to designated areas within the yard. Conduct routine equipment repairs and maintenance on forklifts and other machinery as needed. Assist with shipping and receiving processes, ensuring that all incoming and outgoing goods are handled correctly. Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times. Perform heavy lifting as required, ensuring proper techniques are used to prevent injury. Collaborate with team members to achieve operational goals and improve efficiency.

Experience

Previous experience in the concrete industry is highly desirable. Proficiency in operating forklifts and familiarity with various types of lifting equipment is essential. Strong mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting and repairing equipment is an asset. Basic mathematical skills for inventory management and record keeping are required. A proven track record in load and unload operations, demonstrating reliability and attention to detail. Pay: 12.51-19.70 per hour
