Responsibilities
Receiving, unpacking, and checking incoming deliveries against relevant paperwork. Organise and store raw materials and finished goods effectively. Use regular cycle counting to ensure a high degree of stock accuracy. Pick and transport raw materials within the facility in readiness for production using forklifts and cranes. Highlight any stock anomalies. Monitor inventory levels and suggest new orders when needed. Respond to all material requests expediently. Transact all material movements through the SAP ERP system and document as required. Prepare finished product for despatch including inspection, packing, and loading onto vehicles. Inspect all material handling equipment and report any maintenance requirements. Conduct regular stock checks.
Requirements and skills
Demonstrable experience in a similar role. Forklift and crane licenses essential. Fit enough to meet physical demands of role. PC literate preferably using Microsoft Outlook , stock control software and the use of hand-held devices for processing picking and despatching orders. Methodical and have good organisational skills. Good communication both written and oral. Willing to do overtime.
Shift Available
Monday to Friday- 8am until 5pm
