E Park and Sons Limited are a leading packer and wholesaler of fresh potatoes to many blue chip retail customers and food processors.

An opportunity has arisen for an outstanding, enthusiastic Forklift Truck Engineer to join our team based at our state of the art factory in Epworth, Doncaster.

Key Roles & Responsibilities:

Perform repairs, servicing and preventative maintenance on materials handling equipment.

Deal with breakdowns, servicing and inspections to keep the machinery in the best possible condition.

Proactive approach; ensuring that all vehicle repairs are carried out in a timely and cost effective manner.

On occasion you may be required to assist the engineering team in other areas across the site where effective team working skills are required.

To ensure that the day-to-day hygiene and housekeeping standards are met.

Understand and promote the company Health and Safety policy and promote a safe working environment culture

Qualifications & Experience:

Qualified in a mechanical engineering discipline, ideally with material handling products experience however, we are open to considering candidates from other backgrounds such as: Automotive, Agricultural or Construction Equipment.

The ability to work unsupervised efficiently and effectively to consistently meet deadlines

Self-motivated with excellent time management, organisation and task prioritisation skills

A proactive approach and the ability to investigate and resolve issues to maximise machinery availability, life cycle costs and efficiencies

Knowledge of health and safety standards and compliance.

A high standard of accuracy and attention to detail.

Hourly Rate: Competitive Pay Rate

Shifts: Working 8 hour shifts Monday to Friday - Start time to be agreed. Overtime available
