We are seeking a skilled Forklift Operator to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced warehouse environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of forklifts to facilitate the loading and unloading of materials, as well as ensuring proper storage and handling of goods. A strong understanding of warehouse management systems and mechanical knowledge will be advantageous in this role.

This is a full-time position working 42.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with fixed hours from 13:30 to 22:00. A 30-minute unpaid lunch break is included each day. You will report directly to the Warehouse Manager.

Responsibilities

Safely and efficiently operate a VNA and CB forklift trucks within the warehouse to move stock to designated areas. Assist with the loading and unloading of deliveries, ensuring goods are handled and stored correctly. Perform routine checks and maintenance of the VNA and CB forklift to ensure it is in safe working condition. Follow all health and safety regulations, ensuring a safe working environment Maintain accurate records of goods moved, stock levels, and any other relevant information. Collaborate with team members to maintain a clean and organised work environment.
Additional training for this position will be provided.

Requirements:

Valid VNA and CB forklift licenses (essential). Previous experience in operating a VNA and CB forklifts in a warehouse setting. Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well in a team. A flexible and positive attitude to work. Ability to work independently or as part of a team. Good communication skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet targets.
