Whether in search of adventure, play, thrills, food, shopping or restoration, we have something for all. At the heart of the park is Fort Douglas, a magical adventure playground that inspires imagination and active play for children of all ages.

The role?

In this exciting new role, you will be the driving force behind our Fort Douglas Adventure Playground Operation, creating the type of experiences that keep our young adventurers and their grown ups coming back for more. Leading a team of permanent, casual and seasonal colleagues, the successful candidate will oversee daily admissions, manage and develop the catering offering, support park-wide events, and ensure we operate safely, efficiently and profitably while maintaining the highest levels of customer service.

The person?

This role is perfect for a customer-focused leader with strong commercial awareness who will focus on developing our offering and achieving tangible results. Flexibility, excellent organisation skills and the ability to proactively manage multiple priorities are essential. As well as having some experience in managing a visitor attraction, we are looking for candidates who have worked in hospitality and can demonstrate a good understanding of risk management. As you might expect, working weekends and holidays will be required.
