Forward Deployed Engineer - UK (Remote, Customer-Facing)



I'm partnering with a fast-growing, venture-backed SaaS company that's transforming how field teams operate across industries like utilities, construction, and other safety-critical sectors. They're looking for Forward Deployed Engineers to work directly with enterprise clients, embedding their platform to deliver tailored, high-impact solutions.



This is a unique opportunity to work on-site with some of the UK's largest enterprise clients, combining engineering, AI-driven automation, and operational insight. You'll bridge the gap between real-world field challenges and cutting-edge technology, shaping solutions that demonstrate measurable value while influencing the product roadmap.Role Highlights



Work closely with enterprise clients across the UK, initially spending multiple days per week on-site during onboarding.



Rapidly prototype and deliver solutions that integrate the platform with customer data and workflows.



Design and implement automation, integrations, and AI-assisted workflows to unlock measurable business impact.



Act as a solution architect in the field, translating customer needs into practical technical solutions.



Influence the product roadmap by providing real-world feedback from deployments.



Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, product, and customer success teams.



Ideal Candidate



Hands-on engineering experience, ideally full-stack (React, Django, Python).



Comfortable working directly with customers and solving complex, real-world problems.



Adaptable and entrepreneurial, thriving in fast-paced, high-growth environments.



Interest in AI or automation is a plus (can be learned on the job).



Exposure to regulated or safety-critical industries (utilities, energy, construction) is desirable.



Location: Remote across the UK, with travel to customer sites required (Preference London based)


Salary: 90,000- 110,000
