About the Role



We are looking for a highly organised and detail-focused

Fostering Panel Admin

to support the smooth running of fostering panels and ensure all administrative processes are completed efficiently and accurately. You will play a key role in preparing documentation, coordinating panel meetings, producing minutes, and maintaining high-quality data and records.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a structured environment, has excellent administrative skills, and can work confidently with social workers, managers and panel members.

Key ResponsibilitiesPanel Administration



Compile

draft minutes

for Chair approval within required timescales. Assist with the

distribution of approved minutes/outcomes

promptly. Collate

documents and reports

from social workers ahead of panel meetings. Provide

minute-taking cover

for additional panels as needed. Update and maintain

computerised systems

accurately.

Liaison & Support



Ensure all fostering panels are

scheduled, supported and fully minuted

. Manage the team's

database systems

, ensuring high-quality and reliable information. Ensure fostering-related data is

processed accurately and on time

. Produce

monitoring reports and statistical returns

as required. Develop and improve data collection systems with managers and practitioners. Maintain and update administrative procedures to meet operational needs. Provide

statistical information

relating to fostering panels when requested.

Ideal Candidate ProfileEssential Skills & Experience



Strong administrative background, ideally within social care or similar settings. Excellent minute-taking skills with the ability to produce clear, accurate records. Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and work to deadlines. Confident working with confidential information and sensitive documents. Good knowledge of IT systems, databases and Microsoft Office applications. High attention to detail and commitment to maintaining accurate records. Strong communication skills and ability to work with multidisciplinary teams.

Desirable



Experience supporting panels, committees, or regulatory meetings. Understanding of fostering services or children's social care processes.
