About The Role
The successful candidate will
Co-lead in taking initial telephone fostering enquires from the public.
Arrange and co-lead on foster carer recruitment activities in the community.
To work in partnership with the Communications & Marketing Officer, undertaking tasks that can market the role of foster carer.
A high degree of administration is needed. Recording on spreadsheets, the Children's Social Services database and collecting monthly statistics that are provided to Fostering Management.
Excellent interpersonal skills are needed as you will be conversing with the public daily. An excellent and confident telephone manner.
The successful candidate will be required to work some weekends and occasional evenings.
The position is based at Sir Henry Mitchell House however due to the nature of the work home working is permitted.
This post is not open to currently approved Bradford foster carers.
About You
GCSE (or equivalent) Mathematics grade C and English grade C
Experience of working with children and young people and/or parents/carers.
Experience in office administration.
Excellent communication skills.
A driving licence and access to a car with business Insurance unless a disability prevents this.
