FOSTERING SOCIAL WORKER (Hull/ERYC/Northern Lincolnshire)
Salary range:
From 35,118.01 up to 44,290.00 p/a depending on the level of skill and experience.
Hours:
37 hours per week - must be prepared to be flexible regarding working hours.
Base:
Hybrid but must be willing and able to travel to our offices in Grimsby and Doncaster for meetings, training etc, if and when necessary.

Essential requirements:
A minimum of 2 years post-qualifying experience working within a fostering service
A Diploma in Social Work or Certificate of Qualification in Social Work
Sound working knowledge of Child Protection procedures
Experience and working knowledge of relevant legislation and guidance including: Children Act, Working Together, Every Child Matters, Care Standards Act, Fostering Regulations, and Care Planning
Responsibilities and tasks include:
To promote and safeguard children's welfare within quality family placements.
To undertake the recruitment, approval, training and support functions related to foster carers.
To ensure that the carers provide a safe and nurturing environment for children/young people, by continually monitoring the carers' suitability and competence.
