SUMMARY




Business partner to Finance Director at Bearward Engineering, a division of Wabtec UK Limited, supporting the controller with Financial, Treasury and Accounting-related compliance operations of the Business Unit.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

include the following. Other duties may be assigned.



Business partner to Finance Director:

Provide and interpret financial information/data to support business decisions Supporting financial and strategic planning / analysis including development / management of Budget / STRAP Business growth support Key capital asset request (CAR) support


Financial reporting support for all areas of financial operations including:

Month End close and supporting numbers High level weekly information including Business metrics Forecasting and management accounts Risks and opportunities reporting Accounts receivable ownership Cash from operations management / reporting All ERP related processes Cost accounting Ad-hoc work


Treasury Management support:

Cash management including cash race reporting Maximization of Cash from Operations Treasury controls


Compliance work support:

SOX / control's existence and adherence All Audit & tax compliance Compliance with US GAAP accounting Adherence to international reporting requirements including customs compliance Best practice for all areas of finance and controls

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:





Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) with post-qualification experience High level of proficiency with MS Office and accounting software (e.g., Oracle, PowerBI, Excel, PowerPoint, AI, Blackline) Detail oriented with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously
