Position Overview
Part of Finance, the International FP&A team manages the budgeting, forecasting and analytical processes for twenty-five countries across Europe, Middle East (EMEA), Canada and Australia.

Reporting to Director, Intl, Commercial FP&A, you will provide financial and business decision support to the regional leaders and their organizations. You will be responsible for understanding planned and actual OpEx spend and help the business make investment allocation decisions through ROI evaluations and other meaningful insights.
You will work closely with country heads and relevant functions to gather tactical and strategic investment needs. You will assess investment proposals by preparing insightful business cases. You will measure the outcomes of various capital allocation options. You will use modelling to understand which is the best use of the company resources and put forward recommendations to the leadership team. You will support the commercial team to make sure that spending is on time and on budget. Finally, you will be responsible for our investment cadence, as well as improving processes and tools via automation and simplification.
In addition, you will link up with R&D and leverage your experience to really understand the product features and the future product technology road map. You will be able to articulate strategic priorities with various stakeholders and will understand the commercial models we use in different markets.
Responsibilities
Your main responsibilities will consist in, while not being limited to:Commercial Investment Framework: Partner with Commercial Operations and Regional General Managers to establish finance and strategic based frameworks to allocate and optimize investments across commercial areas
Financial Modelling: Partner with commercial leaders to develop cross-functional business cases with supporting financial models. Provide financial analysis and recommend solutions surrounding program changes. Measure and track return on investment
Financial Reporting: Develop and maintain reporting dashboards to help drive investment allocation decisions. Develop and report other KPIs and provide actionable insights to GMs to support business decisions
Financial Forecast: Review country level forecasts and help identify areas for improvement by evaluating cost components, sales growth, and customer lifetime values
Process Design & Improvement: Support the design of new processes to improve the quality and productivity of the finance team and the business in general
Teamwork and Training: Work well with the various team members in the department and the broader Insulet community
Special Projects: Work on specific unique projects that might call for complex financial modelling, or project management skills, including continuous improvement initiatives
Business Controls: Advocate for strong business controls and support Sarbanes-Oxley processes within Insulet

Required Skills and CompetenciesExcellent MS Office and modelling skills are required
Prior use of ERP (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics) and Planning Tools (SAC-P, Hyperion)
Able to synthesize and analyse large quantities of data to create useful information
Able to effectively manage projects; results-oriented and hands-on
Ability to work under tight deadlines
Fluent in English. Another European language is a plus
Education and ExperienceBachelor or Master's degree in Finance / Accounting or another relevant field
Broad finance background that includes financial planning and analysis, accounting, finance, internal management reporting systems, budgeting, investment analysis and financial modelling
Proven track record as an effective financial business partner with a strong internal customer service focus
Previous experience in the Healthcare industry is a plus, but not required
Additional InformationThe position can be hybrid (minimum 3 days a week at the office London-Hammersmith)
Travel is estimated at 10% to 15% but will flex depending on business need
