Job Description

We are looking for a FP&A Overhead Manager to join our Group Finance function based in our Head Office in Viables, Basingstoke. Our focus is on the management of the overhead base and timely and accurate financial information which is critical to on-going business decisions and adherence to cost control targets. This role, reporting to the Director of FP&A, is critical in achieving this by helping the team and wider management to monitor cost control around the business, holding cost centre owners to budgeted and strategic targets set by the Executive Leadership Team.

Key Responsibilities



Management of x1 FP&A Analyst Responsible for group wide reporting, forecasting and budgeting of overheads in line with set strategic targets, with timely and accurate Group wide financial information into the Director of FP&A on circa 70m overbase cost base Partner and challenge cost centre owners (including ELT members) to ensure strategic targets are adhered to. Provide financial input to and support development of strategic initiatives, including the impact on group wide overheads Own cost centre reporting, driving ownership and accountability of overhead performance Provide ad hoc support to senior management on a variety of financial matters Management of the FP&A Overhead Analyst, to facilitate accurate cost centre packs and reviews across the business, ensuring deadlines are met as and when required

Skills, Qualifications & Experience



Qualified Recognised CCAB accounting qualification (ACA / ACMA / ACCA / CIMA or equivalent) Experience of business partnering at a senior level, and management of a small team Ability to quickly form working relationships and gain credibility with senior management, and present complex financial information clearly and succinctly Able to influence at all levels of the business Experience of managing more junior team members and supporting them through their professional qualifications Ability to work under pressure, to strict timescales and to multi-task High level of competence with the Microsoft Office suite packages (most notably Excel). Competent SAP user (variance reporting) Enthusiastic team player with positive attitude Excellent attention to detail Good organisation and prioritisation skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
