Located in Runcorn, United Kingdom, our newly extended 120,000 sq. ft. facility is a fully integrated site offering comprehensive manufacturing, repair, and overhaul services to the major players in the landing gear industry. Designated as a Center of Excellence, the facility specializes in surface treatment and assembly of small to medium sized landing gear systems.

Key Responsibilities
Reporting to the UK Controller, you'll be responsible for providing financial reports, analysis and guidance to the business. Your duties will include, although not be limited to;
Ensuring sales and cost of goods sold are accurately reported
Producing accurate and insightful commentary on sales margins
Identifying areas of overspend and working with the business to minimize the impact
Inventory reporting, provision calculations and co-leading the annual stock take with the Logistics Manager
Active role in producing financial forecasts and budgets
Improving and streamlining reports tailored to business need
Working with Operations and Programme Managers to deliver financial business objectives
Providing financial input on new business opportunities
Providing cover for the Assistant Controller as required
Skills & Qualifications:
Proven experience as a qualified Accountant (ACCA, ACA or CIMA)
Experience of business partnering and working across departments to deliver a positive change, ideally in a manufacturing environment
Experience of cost analysis, inventory management, forecasting and budgeting
Enthusiastic, proactive and thorough approach to work, with good attention to detail
Ability to take ownership and responsibility of work, managing workload to meet deadlines
High standard of IT literacy, and excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Excel would be beneficial
Superb analytical skills, with strong commercial awareness and business acumen
Leadership potential and the ambition and drive to progress in the future
Objective/ critical judgement required during financial reviews to deliver results
Good communication/ presentation skills to be able to deliver financial/ technical information to various stakeholders across the business
