The Role:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our dedicated Fire Risk Assessment (FRA) team as an FRA Co-ordinator / Work Scheduler / Buyer. This role is critical in supporting our compliance-driven department, ensuring all fire safety works are properly scheduled, fully accredited, and meticulously documented from start to finish.
Responsibilities:
Maintain and update our internal FRA job tracking system (FRA Tracker) with all relevant information.
Procure and coordinate materials required for FRA-related works.
Attend and minute weekly team meetings, ensuring accurate updates to the Tracker.
Attend and minute monthly Work in Progress meetings with senior management, maintaining associated records and spreadsheets.
Act as a key point of contact for site operatives, management, clients and tenants.
Conduct online audits of completed works and prepare detailed reports for client submission.
Ensure all works meet required compliance standards and hold the correct accreditations.
Attributes/Skills:
Strong IT skills, particularly with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
Excellent written and verbal communication.
Methodical, organised and able to manage multiple priorities.
Self-motivated with a keen eye for compliance and accuracy.
A collaborative approach with a willingness to share knowledge and work as part of a team.
Qualifications/Experience:
Minimum of 5 GCSEs (A-C or equivalent). Prior experience in an administrative role (essential).
Experience in work scheduling or a similar role (desirable).
Understanding of procurement or buying processes (beneficial).
Familiarity with fire safety compliance or construction compliance processes (advantageous)
