Role Purpose

The Frame Stacker plays a key role within the Frames department by safely organising, stacking, and moving wooden frames to support production flow. The role ensures frames are handled efficiently, stored correctly, and made readily available for downstream operations, helping maintain site performance, efficiency, and safe working practices.

Key Responsibilities

Safely lift, move, and stack wooden frames according to production requirements. Ensure frames are stacked securely to prevent damage, tipping, or obstruction. Work closely with Frame Assemblers, Upholstery, and Despatch to ensure frames are delivered to the correct areas on time. Keep storage areas tidy, accessible, and compliant with health & safety standards. Ensure walkways, fire exits, and emergency routes remain clear. Use manual handling aids as required (trolleys, pump trucks, stands)

Skills

Ability to safely carry out manual work, including lifting and moving large frames. Good awareness of health and safety in a manufacturing environment. Strong organisation skills and a tidy working approach. Ability to work independently and as part of a fast-paced team. Good communication skills.

Desirable

Experience in furniture manufacturing or a similar environment. Knowledge of frame components and furniture production flow. Experience with manual handling aids

Additional Information

Full training will be provided. Role may require occasional overtime to support production peaks.

Monday to Thursday, 06:00am to 15:00pm and Fridays 06:00am - 11:00am

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: 12.21 per hour

Expected hours: 39 per week
