Your Responsibilities as a Fitter
As part of our installation team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality glass installations while maintaining our commitment to excellence, organisation, and teamwork. Your responsibilities will include:
Glass Installation: Installing glass balustrades, custom shower enclosures, Juliet balconies, glass doors, partitions, staircases, and walk-on floor glass with precision and care.
Quality Control: Inspecting and ensuring the quality of all deliveries before use.
Scheduling: Following an organized electronic diary for scheduled installations to stay on track.
Tool Maintenance: Keeping tools in excellent condition for efficient and safe use.
Van Preparation: Preparing vans with all necessary materials and equipment for installations.
Glass Handling: Safely handling and managing glass during installations to prevent damage.
Working at Height: Confidently working from height when required for installations.
Communication: Maintaining clear communication with team members, customers, and the Installations/Operations Manager throughout the process.
Measurements & Templating: Taking accurate on-site measurements and completing templating for glass production when necessary.
Cleanliness & Organization: Upholding cleanliness and organization in your workspace during and after installations, as well as maintaining the site, warehouse, and vans.
Stock Management: Updating stock sheet quantities to ensure inventory accuracy.
Training & Development: Attending occasional systems training sessions to enhance your skills and stay updated on best practices.
Team Spirit: Participating in end-of-week team gatherings to celebrate accomplishments with your colleagues.

Job Specifications
Health & Safety: Follow all health and safety procedures on-site and when handling glass.
Technical Skills: Use hand tools and operate cutting machinery.
Team Collaboration: Be part of a skilled installation team.
Driving Requirement: A valid driving license is required.
Desirable Experience: Previous experience in a frameless glass company, particularly with balustrades and shower installations, is advantageous. Also an advantage would be 2 stage carpentry/joinery.
