UK Event Structures is a leading marquee hire, and marquee manufacturing business based in Pontefract, West Yorkshire, with coverage across the UK.

Main Purpose of Role:

A varied and hybrid role to manufacture a range of high quality aluminium marquee frame, flooring, PVC and product related components by operating manufacturing machinery and hand/air powered tools. The role will also involve assisting in the finishing, picking, packing and dispatch of orders.

There will also be the requirement to help in other areas of the business when required, such as onsite work to help with the installation of structures, delivery of products and general warehousing duties.

MUST HAVE FULL UK DRIVING LICENCE

FLT LICENCE DESIRABLE

Key Responsibilities:

- Setting and operating bespoke production machinery in line with training and company procedures.

- Maintain targeted production schedule by keeping the line operational and functional.

- Conduct regular quality checks and testing to ensure products are manufactured to specification.

- Ensure good 'Housekeeping' by keeping working areas clean and tidy both throughout and at the end of working days.

- Ensure tools and equipment are treated with respect and always packed away in designed areas at the end of a working day.

- Onsite work assisting in the installation of structures - physically demanding work.

- Day to day warehousing duties

- Picking & packing of hire framework and PVC covers.

- Have a positive 'can do' attitude.

- Great attention to detail.

Always adhere to company H&S policy and procedure and use PPE as provided and directed in company training.

Hours are predominantly Monday to Friday but will include late finishes and weekend working when required during our peak trading season (May to August).
