Experian\'s Identity and Fraud Analytics team has an exciting new opportunity for a Fraud Analytics Project Lead to join their team, focussing on developing fraud risk solutions for clients. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a Global FTSE 40 business at a time of notable growth in the Identity and Fraud space, when we are constantly adapting our services and technologies to combat the changing Identity and Fraud landscape.

What you will be doing

Working in a team with a wealth of experience ranging from 6 months to over 15 years, you will:

  • Manage multiple analytical projects from concept to implementation, using advanced analytical techniques and machine learning algorithms to solve client business problems.
  • Work with clients across a broad range of vertical markets, from Banking and Financial Services through to Telecoms, Utilities or Automotive, to oversee the build of predictive analytical models using Python
  • Act as the main day to day client contact, ensuring accurate information is given to Experian clients in a timely manner.
  • Supervise the work of junior analysts in the team and lead them to develop analytical solutions using best practice analytical techniques
  • Quickly gain an understanding of Experian\'s product suite and how we serve clients using both analytics and exciting products such as Crosscore.
This is a great opportunity for candidates in analytical roles currently with 3-4 years experience in role who want to work in a fast-paced team. We are keen to hear from candidates across all sectors, though fraud risk will be an advantage.

Qualifications

What we\'re looking for

We\'re looking for someone with a strong mathematical or analytical background who has an inquisitive mind, works effectively as part of a team and has the drive to really make a difference. This Fraud Analytics Project Lead role requires strong experience of data analysis, predictive modelling and programming. The ability to work with complex information and to be able communicate clearly is also crucial.
  • Numerical Bachelor\'s degree
  • Experience in a relevant analytical role building predictive models
  • Programming experience (preferably SAS or Python)
  • An inquisitive mind, focused on addressing and solving data and analysis problems
  • Strong knowledge and experience of working with and interpreting data
  • Understanding of how credit providers utilise fraud data within their decision processes
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience of leading and managing projects
  • An understanding of the business implications of analysis
  • Excellent planning and organisational skills
Desirable
  • Background in fraud risk
  • Knowledge of machine learning algorithms such as Boosted Trees, Random Forests or Neural Networks
