Duties



Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring smooth and efficient food production Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and standards Supervise and manage kitchen staff, including training and mentoring team members Maintain high standards of food safety, hygiene, and cleanliness in compliance with health regulations Manage inventory, order supplies, and control stock levels to minimise waste Collaborate with management on menu development and special event planning Ensure timely delivery of quality dishes to guests while maintaining excellent customer service Monitor food presentation and ensure consistency across all offerings Lead by example in fostering a positive team environment and promoting professional development

Skills



Proven experience in food production, cooking, and kitchen management within a hospitality or restaurant setting Supervising experience with the ability to lead and motivate a team effectively Strong knowledge of food safety standards and hygiene regulations Excellent culinary skills with a flair for creativity in menu design and presentation Effective team management skills with the ability to organise staff schedules and delegate tasks appropriately Experience in food preparation, serving, and hospitality operations Leadership qualities with the ability to handle high-pressure situations calmly and efficiently Good communication skills to liaise with staff, suppliers, and management effectively Knowledge of current culinary trends and techniques is desirable

Job Types: Temporary, Freelance
Contract length: 2 months

Pay: 17.00-19.00 per hour
