We are seeking to work with several trainers who are willing to deliver weekend and evening training sessions for learners completing any of the below programmes

Unaccredited ( no qualification) Master class

Diploma Level 1

Diploma level 2

Diploma level 3

NVQ's

CSCS card Training

We are looking for the following qualified or time served tradespeople looking for some extra income;

Bricklaying

Plastering

Tiling

Multi-trade

Plumbing

Electrical

Hours will involve weekends and evenings for a set duration per course offered.

Candidates do not need to have previous education experience. Teaching and Assessing qualifications will be funded for the right candidates. We are looking for experienced and skilled tradespeople to join our growing team, who have a passion for working with learners to help get qualified within Construction trades.

Job Overview



To be responsible for delivering training to learners aged 16 plus. An experienced and motivated Trainer delivering high-quality, hands-on training to learners in most construction trade areas with a particular focus on construction curriculum. The Trainer role will deliver a set curriculum, manage groups of learners' achievements, Attendance, and Engagement. The Trainer role will continuously develop their curriculum area, physical resources and practice to ensure that their programmes are up to date and relevant with industry requirements.

Specific duties -



Deliver engaging, practical, and theory-based training sessions in construction, aligned with national standards and qualifications (e.g., City & Guilds, NOCN, T-Levels, NVQs). Teach learners the fundamentals of trades in line with the awarding body requirement and study programme. Develop schemes of work, lesson plans, and training materials that reflect industry best practices and comply with awarding body criteria. Guide and assess learners in workshop-based activities and classroom-based assessments to achieve their qualifications and programmes. Monitor learner progress, attendance, engagement, maintain accurate records, and provide regular, constructive feedback and assessments. Promote and enforce high standards of health and safety, ensuring learners work safely and responsibly in practical settings. Support a diverse cohort of learners, including apprentices, school leavers, adult learners, and those retraining from other sectors. Participate in curriculum reviews, standardisation meetings, and continuous professional development (CPD). Contribute to internal quality assurance processes and support external verification as required. Help learners develop employability and work-readiness skills relevant to the modern construction industry.

Skills



Essential:



Industry-recognized qualifications (e.g., NVQ Level 2/3, City & Guilds 2365, 6189, 18th Edition) Or willingness to work towards Significant hands-on experience in multi-trade work within domestic or commercial construction. Excellent communication and organisational skills.

Desirable:



Teaching qualification (e.g., Level 3 Award in Education and Training / AET, PTLLS, or higher). Assessor qualification (e.g., TAQA, A1, D32/D33). Previous experience delivering training or mentoring in a construction environment.
