Our mission is to ensure that every family/Individual in need has access to essential tools, education support, and learning opportunities to bridge the digital poverty divide and foster community empowerment.

Summary



I am looking for a calm, organised and reliable freelance Personal Assistant / Executive Support worker to support me in my role as the Founder of Bridge the Gap Ending Digital Poverty C.I.C. I am a neurodivergent disabled founder, parent and carer, managing chronic pain, ADHD, dyslexia and fluctuating energy levels. I need structured, steady support that reduces pressure and helps me manage my responsibilities safely.

This role is focused on supporting me to function well day-to-day. The right person will follow instructions clearly, communicate calmly, ask questions when needed, and work independently once tasks are understood.

Key Responsibilities



Communication & Email Support



Manage and organise multiple inboxes Draft and prepare email responses Summarise long messages to reduce overwhelm Support clear and timely communication

Administrative & Organisational Support



Prepare simple documents, templates and notes Help schedule appointments and set reminders Maintain orderly digital files and systems Break tasks down into steps to support processing Assist with Access to Work paperwork and updates

Light Social Media & Content Support



Help schedule posts and basic engagement Support with simple content preparation

Research & Bid Support (As Directed)



Basic research for funding opportunities Drafting and proofreading short sections Preparing supporting documents Tracking deadlines

Supporting BTG's Internal Organisation



Help outline volunteer roles and onboarding steps Assist in creating simple systems and processes Help me plan and prioritise tasks in a manageable way

Supporting Future Team Development



Part of this role includes helping me prepare for bringing volunteers or team members into BTG over time. This may include creating simple onboarding documents, role outlines and keeping things organised so tasks can be shared. The aim is to build a wider support team so your workload becomes lighter over time. Your primary role long-term will be supporting me personally, maintaining structure and helping me stay on top of tasks.
