Your Role:

As a

Court/Police Interpreter

, you'll be the crucial link between law enforcement and individuals with limited English, ensuring clear, accurate communication during interviews, investigations, and community interactions.

Ability to commute/relocate:

Dungannon | Ballymena | Belfast | Newtownards | Londonderry

What You Need:

? Open College Network Level 4 Certificate in Community Interpreting OR Diploma in Public Service Interpreting Level 6

? Right to Work

in the UK or Ireland (no restrictions)

? Fluency in English (C1 level or higher)

?

Fluency in Romanian (C1 level or higher, Native preferred)

? 100+ hours of interpreting experience

(professional, voluntary, or informal)

? Security Clearance

(or willingness to obtain one)

Experience:

court/legal interpreting: 2 years (required)
Work Location: In person
