Freelance Interior Designer - Workspace & Education Sector

Location:

Burgess Hill, West Sussex (Hybrid/Flexible)

We are a family-run design & build company specialising in workspace and education environments. Based in Burgess Hill, we are looking for a talented Freelance Interior Designer to support our in-house Designer across a range of projects.

This role will involve a mix of remote work and on-site collaboration at our head office when required. You'll contribute to concept development, technical drawing packages, moodboards, and 3D modelling/visualisation for live projects.

Key Responsibilities

Support our in-house Interior Designer across multiple design stages Produce clear, coherent technical drawing packages Assist with concept design, presentations, and curated moodboards Develop 3D models and visualisations for client proposals Communicate design ideas effectively within a small, collaborative team Work independently when required, managing your tasks and deadlines confidently

What We're Looking For

Strong technical drawing skills Confident in curating and presenting concept designs Excellent communication and collaboration abilities Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively Flexibility to travel to our Burgess Hill office periodically Proficient 3D modelling and rendering skills Comfortable using Vectorworks (preferred) or other software compatible with our workflow
