RightScapes is an expanding landscaping company based in Yeadon, Leeds. At RightScapes, we specialise in domestic landscaping construction and design. We are currently looking for a creative and detail-oriented

Landscape Designer

to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in landscape design, an eye for aesthetics, and the ability to create innovative outdoor spaces that align with our clients' visions.


As a Landscape Designer at RightScapes, you will play a crucial role in designing and planning outdoor spaces for our residential clients. You will be responsible for developing creative design concepts, producing technical drawings, and collaborating closely with clients and our landscaping team to bring projects to life. Your ability to blend functionality with beauty, while considering environmental factors, will be key to your success in this role.

Key Responsibilities:



Developing unique and functional landscape designs tailored to client requirements. Producing high-quality 2D and 3D design plans, sketches, and visualisations. Conducting site surveys and assessments to determine project feasibility. Collaborating with clients to understand their vision, preferences, and budget. Working alongside the landscaping team to ensure smooth project execution. Selecting appropriate materials, plants, and construction techniques for each project. Ensuring all designs comply with local regulations and sustainability principles. Managing project timelines, budgets, and deliverables effectively. Keeping up to date with industry trends and innovations.

Essential Skills & Experience:



Minimum

3 years

of experience in landscape design or a similar role. Strong knowledge of landscape design principles, materials, and construction methods. Proficiency in design software such as

AutoCAD, Rhino, Vectorworks, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, or equivalent

. Excellent communication and presentation skills to liaise with clients and team members. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines. Knowledge of horticulture, planting schemes, and environmental sustainability.

Qualifications:



A degree or diploma in

Landscape Architecture, Garden Design, or a related field

(preferred). UK

Driver's License

(Essential). CSCS Card (Preferred but not essential).
Job Type: Part-time

Pay: 20.00-25.00 per hour

Schedule:

Monday to Friday
Work Location: Hybrid remote in Leeds LS19 7XS

Expected start date: 02/06/2025
