Freelance Locum Dental Radiography Nurse - Dental Scan (LONDON)

Experienced freelance/LocumDental Nurse with a Radiography Certificate to support our high-quality imaging centre in London. This is an ideal opportunity for a dental professional who enjoys independent, flexible work and wants to specialise in dental radiography and taking itero scans.

You will work alongside an experienced imaging team using advanced X-ray technology, delivering exceptional service to patients and referring clinicians.Key ResponsibilitiesAct as an IR(ME)R 2017 Operator, performing OPG, Cephalometric, and CBCT imaging to a high standard.Manage workflow and prioritise patients to ensure an efficient imaging service.

Assess and respond to patients' physical and communication needs.Maintain professional development and adhere to CPD requirements.Participate in quality assurance and audit activities.

Support with basic administrative and reception tasks when required.

Assist with formatting and preparing X-ray images.Follow the GDC Standards for the Dental Team (2013).Person Specification

Essential

Qualified Dental Nurse (Diploma/Certificate/Foundation Degree)Dental Radiography Certificate

Experience taking iTero Scans

GDC RegistrationEvidence of ongoing CPDExperience in dental radiographyParticipation in audit and quality assuranceGood understanding of radiation legislation

Strong communication and IT skills

Ability to work independently and under pressure

Desirable

CBCT Level 1 training

Experience with CBCT imaging
