The Role:

We're looking for experienced and detail-driven freelance snagging surveyors to cover the

South Yorkshire &

Midland Areas. This is a field-based role offering complete flexibility and the opportunity to earn a high day rate, working independently under the NES brand.

What You'll Be Doing:

Carrying out snagging inspections of new build homes, from cosmetic finishes to functional checks Using our streamlined reporting system to deliver clear, photographic reports to clients Advising clients on post-survey steps and common defects Liaising with our central bookings team and occasionally with developers Optional: Conduct thermal and moisture testing (equipment & training can be provided)

What We're Looking For:

A qualification in Building Surveying (BSc, MSc, SAVA Level 6) or relevant construction/inspection experience

A strong eye for detail and understanding of new build construction quality standards (NHBC, LABC, Premier, etc.) Experience in snagging or property inspections is highly desirable Reliable transport and willingness to travel within your area Confident communicator, both face-to-face and digitally
